Michael J. Pallerino – Global Content Development & Distribution
Michael’s focus at Blue Magnet Partners is to create content for all portfolio company initiatives and develop plans and methodologies for distribution. His passion for writing and communications supports our strategies for using information and the cost-effective delivery of that information as a competitive advantage for all Blue Magnet companies. Michael is an award winning writer and editor. Aside from his Atlanta-based publishing consulting firm, he has won numerous awards over the past 22 years, including the Jesse H. Neal Editorial Achievement Award, recognized as the Pulitzer Prize for business-to-business magazines. As an editor in the sports product industry, his monthly editorials consistently garnered national attention from USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Sports Business Journal and BusinessWeek. He has been interviewed by a number of publications and media outlets, including CNN. Over the years, he has profiled a number of business and sports leaders, including Arthur Blank (Atlanta Falcons), Bob Nardelli (The Home Depot), Herman Russell (H.J. Russell & Co.), Frank Wren (Atlanta Braves), Kevin Plank (Under Armour) and film star Chuck Norris, among others. As the former co-founder of Sporting Kid Publishing, he helped start SportingKid and SPORTS EDGE magazines, driving the editorial direction of both publications. Michael also was editor-in-chief of Swimming Pool/Spa Age and Aquatics International (which covered the residential and commercial aquatics industry), and Sports Trend and Sporting Goods Dealer (the sporting goods industry). In addition, he served as a communications specialist in the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce’s communications department, working closely with the Peach Bowl Coalition, Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG) and Forward Atlanta. Michael graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a major in journalism. |
